Grant and Jessica!

Hello again!

2 posts in one day- SWEET! Yesterday afternoon I had the chance to shoot Jessica and Grant's engagement photos! Amazingly- it warmed up a LOT after Curtis and Jessica's morning shoot and it made for lovely weather for these two!

Last spring I really wanted to get some practice shooting photos of a couple so I used Grant and Jessica to gain some more experience, it was a lot of fun! I felt really fortunate that after they got engaged they thought of me and asked me to photograph their engagement/ wedding. You are both a blast to work with, and I love the humor in your relationship (and Grant: thanks for making Jessica laugh during some of the shots! ;)

Hello!

I hope that this post finds you all well! This past weekend was lots of fun with a dash of busy. Saturday morning started at 7:45am with this great couple! The weather was literally freezing, and steam was rising off of the water....

Really- I couldn't make this stuff up- it was FREEZING!

I was bundled up, and this couple wasn't- guess who was complaining....yup-me! Jessica and Curtis you are such troopers! Somethings I loved about you guys: you braved the cold, you found an AMAZING quail farm to shoot at, and you guys smile so much when you are together! I hope you enjoy you sneak!

Gardiner Family!

I haven't blogged in forever! Sorry about that! That past couple of months have been a bit nuts- but my goal is to get better at this blogging business!

Last Sunday (Halloween!!!) I had to the chance to take the Gardiner's family photos! Let me start out by saying that they have been family friends for a VERY long time and I love them like a second family! I really enjoyed doing their shoot! It was a cool morning but they were troopers! I hope you enjoy the images! I hope you enjoy this sneak-peek!

I would just like to say that I really didn't do much to his eyes- they are just THAT blue!

They have an anniversary coming up soon! Happy Anniversary!

VACATION!

I hope everyone had an awesome week! Last Friday my husband and I were planning for the weeks ahead when we talked to my mother-in-law. She was semi-joking about us driving to Utah to see them..... Well, my husband is still working on job- search (although he has an interview Monday ****fingers crossed-send up a prayer****) and I didn't have any shoots scheduled this week so we thought "WHY NOT!!!" I proofed out photos and delivered some orders and then quick packing began! We made the 15 hr trip in 1 day....Left at 3a.m......Yes we might be crazy! We spent time with family, played in the water, hiked and made smores! The way back we stopped in Denver over-night for Casa Bonita (which my husband didn't know was a real place----apparently it was on South Park.), and the downtown Aquarium! All in all it was FUN but the drive was----whew!!!!!

Hey everyone! Guess what..... ITS FRIDAY!

I hope that everyone had a good week and if you didn't.... I hope you have a good weekend! I am really sorry I didn't get the cupcake blog post up yesterday (as promised). My cupcake helper (my daughter) got sick! : ( So we made them today!

A week ago I asked everyone's favorite cupcakes! One of my facebook friends replied; raspberry lemonade...... Sounds delicious right?! They are! She sent me the recipe (thanks Trinnade!!) and so my daughter and I made them this afternoon! My attempt at food photography (I think I should stick to people):

Holley and Parker!

Hey everyone!

I hope your weekend is going by well! Today we were under heat advisor- NASTY HOT WEATHER! ICK! Anyways- Holley had Dexter's photos schedule for 5:45 and needless to say, we moved the shoot an hour back (it was insanely hot out!!!)!

Parker, Holley and I went and spent the evening in the park! I had soooo much fun! Parker was so adventurous it was awesome to watch him roam! Things I learned about Parker: he LOVES the movie cars, his favorite color has to be "green" because every time you asked him what color something was that was his response, he was brave and let Holley and I know he would protect us from snakes if we found one, he loves animals, he has the biggest brown eyes, and he is 100% pure handsome!

Happy Friday!

I really hope that everyone is having a really awesome Friday (its Friday so...its hard not to be awesome right?!)! Some of you might have noticed that I have quit adding photos to the 365- I am really sorry! With the move I got really far behind and it has become near to impossible to catch up! Instead of the 365 I have decided that I will continuously add photos that are not client related to my blog! These blogs will all have the tag of "personal!" Feel free to stop by and check them out!

Today I needed a break from editing and I thought- hey why don't I take some photos of the puppy to put on here!~ So here he is! My little Zeus!

He looks so innocent right?! Wrong! (but we love him!)

My husband is going to love that I put this on here! Zeus sleeps in our bed and loves to snuggle with Bo- last night I had to get a picture (it really was dark but I used a flash, which made both a little grumpy!)
